WHO WE ARE

We believe the United States, in partnership with other countries, can strengthen food security around the world through visionary leadership – and that doing so advances both our core values and our core interests.

More than 700 million people around the world are food insecure today. Without transformative action to manage climate change, land degradation, water scarcity, and biodiversity loss, the numbers will continue to rise. The United States must be part of the solution.

The Council is dedicated to re-imagining the U.S. approach to building global food security. It identifies and advances the most strategic, evidence-based, and highest impact endeavors to achieve this goal.
